Easy & Yummy Gajar Ka Halwa - M.M.Mithaiwala

Carrots so temptingly orange
With thin hairy fibers hanging loose
And a crown of green at the head

delicious & yummy Gajar ka halwa..Here
is the instant recipe of gajar halwa just in 6 easy steps :-
Ingredients
2 cups thickly grated
carrot
1 tbsp ghee
2 tbsp milk
4 tbsp sugar
4 tbsp mava (khoya)
1 tbsp DryFruits
1/2 tsp cardamom
(elaichi) powder
- Heat the ghee in a pressure cooker; add the grated carrots and saute on a medium flame for 4 to 5 minutes
- Add the milk, mix well and pressure cook for 1 whistle.
- Allow the steam to escape before opening the lid.Transfer into a broad non-stick pan, add the sugar, mix & cook well ,while stirring continuously.
- Add mava & cook for more 1 to 2 minutes, while stirring continuously.
- Add the Dryfruits & cardamom powder and cook for another 1 minute.
- Serve hot or warm.

Quick & Easy - Delicious Badam Burfi

ALMOND Barfi IT IS !! (Badam barfi)
The Magic power of Badam Burfi draws you in and never lets you go.
Ingredients
- Almonds (badam) - 1 cup (100 grams)
- Sugar - 1/2 cup (50 grams)
- Cardamom (elaichi) powder -1/4 tsp
Method
1. Soak the almonds in warm water for about 30 minutes.
2. Drain all the water, peel the almonds and blend them to a fine
paste in food processor. Keep aside.
3. Dissolve the sugar in 1/2 cup of water and prepare a syrup of 1
string consistency.
4. Add the almond paste and cardamom powder and cook over a slow
flame, stirring continuously till the mixture leaves the sides of the pan
(approx. 5 to 7 minutes).
5. Transfer to a plate and cool slightly. Keep aside.
6. Cut it into pieces and serve.
