MM Mithaiwala - Recipe of Sweet & Delicious Badam Pista Roll

Almonds are known to have great medicinal value. Almonds are good for brain functioning , they are source of many vitamins and minerals, they helps to regulate blood pressure & protect against diabetes.

Pistachios are rich source of energy, vitamin-E & Vitamin B6 which helps in increasing the blood count. They are heart-friendly nuts & consumption of pistachios can reduced risk of developing cancer.

We bring you a tasty mixture of these nuts with all its health benefit. The recipe of Sweet & delicious Badam Pista Roll.

Ingredients:
  • Almonds – 1 cup
  • Sugar – 3/4 cup
  • Water a few tbsp
  • Cardamom powder – a pinch
  • Ghee – 3 tbsp
For Inner Layer:
  • Pistachios – 1/2 cup
  • Sugar – 1/4 cup

Method:
  • Soak the almonds & pistachios overnight or in hot water for 2 hours.
  • Remove the skin & dry them by spreading them in a cloth Or roast them in medium flame for 5 minutes.
  • Grind the almonds to powder and grind the pistachios along with 1/4 cup of sugar
  • Make sugar syrup by adding very little water & add cardamom powder to it
  • Add  almond powder  & stir for 5 minutes
  • Now Add ghee . It will roll together like a ball.
  • Grease a plate with ghee & spread the almond dough on it.
  • Spread the pistachio sugar mix on the top of almond dough
  • Roll the them & cut them in between.
  • Delicious rolls are ready to serve

MM Mithaiwala - secret recipe of its delicacy - Anjeer Burfi


Recipe - Anjeer Burfi

Ingredients:-
  • Anjeer - 1 1/2 cups
  • Dates seedless - 1 1/2 cups
  • Almonds - 25-30
  • Cashew nuts -15-20
  • Pistachios -15-20
  • Ghee - 1/2 cup
  • Cardamom powder
  • Saffron
  • Silver vark

Method:-
  • Soak anjeer in boiling water for 10 mins. Drain and puree them in a food processor.
  • Combine the anjeer puree, dry fruits (Dates, Almonds, and Cashewnuts), ghee, cardamom powder & saffron.
  • Cook for 2 mins with continuous stirring in medium to slow flame.
  • Keep stirring and cook mixture for a minute or until everything comes together.
  • Spread evenly on the greased tray & flatten it evenly. Garnish it with finely chopped pistachios & keep it at room temperature for 2 hours to set.
  • Cut in square or desire shape & serve.
