1 cup of homemade paneer (cottage cheese)
1 teaspoon of rosewater
½ teaspoon of elaichi/cardamom powder
1 tablespoon of corn flour
2 tablespoons of milk
1 teaspoon of baking powder
Chopped almonds for garnishing
Saffron sugar syrup
Heat oil for deep frying in a kadhai.
Blend paneer (cottage cheese), corn flour and rose water to make a smooth paste.
Transfer to a prepared piping bag and pipe paneer mixture in a stick like shape directly into hot oil.
Fry on slow flame till light golden.
Drain excess oil out and serve with saffron sugar syrup on the side
Garnish with almond slivers.
