Instant Dry-Fruit Ladoo

MM Mithaiwala - Dry Fruit Ladoo 

As the weather demands MM Present Easy and Instant traditional and humble dry fruits and nuts ladoo recipe , which is an all time treat for kids too ;) 

Ingredients :- 

Dates - 15
Figs - 5
Raisins - around 20
Badam - 25 whole
Cashews- 10 broken roughly
Pista - 20 whole
Mixed Nuts - 1.5 tbsp chopped
Melted Ghee - 1 tsp
Cardamom powder - 1/8 tsp

Method :- 
  1.  Pulse cashews, pistachios, almonds, hazelnuts coarsely. do not powder
  2. Chop dates to small chunks.
  3. Heat  a heavy bottom pan with ghee, roast the nuts on a low flame
  4. Add seeds and coconut fry for 2 to 3 mins
  5. Add dates and cardamom powder. Fry till you get a nice aroma of coconut. Set it aside. Add sugar to it.
  6. Grate jiggery, add water to jaggery and melt it on a low flame
  7. Filter it and discard the debris & Add ghee to it.
  8. Boil this jaggery syrup till you get a soft ball consistency. To check drop little syrup in a small bowl of water. You must be able to roll and get a soft ball & Add rock sugar to the nuts
  9. Add this jaggery syrup to the nuts and mix well. Begin to cook again on a low flame, stirring constantly to prevent burning. Cook till you see jaggery strings in the mix.
  10. Mix well.Now shape them into small lemon sized ladoos.Arrange them in liners and store it.

MM Mithaiwala - Recipe of Sweet & Delicious Badam Pista Roll

Do You Know ??

Almonds are known to have great medicinal value. Almonds are good for brain functioning , they are source of many vitamins and minerals, they helps to regulate blood pressure & protect against diabetes.

Pistachios are rich source of energy, vitamin-E & Vitamin B6 which helps in increasing the blood count. They are heart-friendly nuts & consumption of pistachios can reduced risk of developing cancer.

We bring you a tasty mixture of these nuts with all its health benefit. The recipe of Sweet & delicious Badam Pista Roll.

  • Almonds – 1 cup
  • Sugar – 3/4 cup
  • Water a few tbsp
  • Cardamom powder – a pinch
  • Ghee – 3 tbsp
For Inner Layer:
  • Pistachios – 1/2 cup
  • Sugar – 1/4 cup

  • Soak the almonds & pistachios overnight or in hot water for 2 hours.
  • Remove the skin & dry them by spreading them in a cloth Or roast them in medium flame for 5 minutes.
  • Grind the almonds to powder and grind the pistachios along with 1/4 cup of sugar
  • Make sugar syrup by adding very little water & add cardamom powder to it
  • Add  almond powder  & stir for 5 minutes
  • Now Add ghee . It will roll together like a ball.
  • Grease a plate with ghee & spread the almond dough on it.
  • Spread the pistachio sugar mix on the top of almond dough
  • Roll the them & cut them in between.
  • Delicious rolls are ready to serve

MM Mithaiwala - secret recipe of its delicacy - Anjeer Burfi

Recipe - Anjeer Burfi

  • Anjeer - 1 1/2 cups
  • Dates seedless - 1 1/2 cups
  • Almonds - 25-30
  • Cashew nuts -15-20
  • Pistachios -15-20
  • Ghee - 1/2 cup
  • Cardamom powder
  • Saffron
  • Silver vark

  • Soak anjeer in boiling water for 10 mins. Drain and puree them in a food processor.
  • Combine the anjeer puree, dry fruits (Dates, Almonds, and Cashewnuts), ghee, cardamom powder & saffron.
  • Cook for 2 mins with continuous stirring in medium to slow flame.
  • Keep stirring and cook mixture for a minute or until everything comes together.
  • Spread evenly on the greased tray & flatten it evenly. Garnish it with finely chopped pistachios & keep it at room temperature for 2 hours to set.
  • Cut in square or desire shape & serve.

Khajur Modak Recipe - M M Mithaiwala

KhaJur Modak - M M Mithaiwala 
Fusion seems to be the keyword and the traditional modak has got a fun, new twist. 
M M Mithaiwala brings to you a delicious and healthy Khajoor Modak Instant recipe.

  • Seedless Khajoor (Dates) - 1 cup
  • Khuskhus (Poppy seeds) - 2 teaspoons
  • Grated dry coconut - 2 tablespoons
  • Cashew, almond and pista -1 cup
  • Black Raisins - 2 tablespoons
  • Cardamom powder - 2 teaspoons
  • Pure Ghee - 1 tablespoon


  • In a non- stick pan, Melt ghee on slow flame add chopped nuts,coconut & saute it till it turns brown. 
  • Then add Dates in it and keep smashing it until it blends well and turns soft. 
  • Remove from heat & when cool enough put it in the mixer and grind it coarsely. 
  • Now put it in "Modak Sacha" (Mold) to give proper shape. 
  • Modak are ready for Ganpati bappa.

Modak is a sweet delicacy which is prepared during the Ganesh Festival offered to Lord Ganesha as Prasad.But for this Chocolate Modak you don't need to wait for any occasion.

A delightful & delicious chocolate-twist given to the traditional Ganesha's favourite.It is an exceptional way of attracting kids & all ages of people who adore eating chocolates.

Chocolate modak looks very inviting, tempting  & yummiest in taste.
Ingredients :- 
  1. 1 cup khoya (mawa)
  2. 3/4 cup powdered sugar
  3. 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  4. 1 tbsp condensed milk
Method :- 
  1. In a non stick pan add khoya & roast on low flame until it changes color slightly to golden brown.
  2. Add condensed milk and stir for 1 minute. Turn off heat.
  3. Add powdered sugar and cocoa powder. Stir until everything is well mixed. The mixture should resemble a dough consistency. Knead the dough with hand if needed.
  4. When the mixture is still warm, stuff in a modak mould to get modak shape.
